May 14th will be the final iteration of Hype to the Grove.
I’ve delivered the vision I had from the start - to put together an enjoyable mix of rap and hip hop that emphasized variety and discovery, at a steady monthly cadence. It’s the right time to close the chapter on this project and move on to the next endeavor. I hope this is a proper send-off to the series, one that came to fruition in the early height of COVID and improbably ran for a tumultuous four years, accompanied by some long-winded writing when I still had the time.
The playlist and Spotify account will both stay active indefinitely. Past playlists will all be found in the Spotify profile, sorted by the most recent, possibly renamed to make it easier to see the dates. Thank you for your support, and even more if you branched off into the artists’ respective discographies or found your own path of exploration.
